Je m’appelle Yassine Naji, professeur d’anglais avec plus de 7 ans d’expérience dans l’enseignement de l’anglais à différents niveaux, aussi bien dans des centres de langues que dans des cours particuliers. Titulaire d’une Licence en Linguistique ainsi que du CELTA (une certification internationale de Cambridge pour l’enseignement de l’anglais aux apprenants non anglophones), je propose une approche simple, progressive et adaptée aux besoins de chaque apprenant. Mon objectif est de vous aider à parler anglais avec confiance grâce à des méthodes modernes, interactives et efficaces.
o Learners will introduce themselves, ask and answer personal questions, and get familiar with classmates through interactive ice-breakers designed to build speaking confidence (Unit 1: Greetings, names, 'to be' affirmative).
o Learners will practice asking for and giving phone numbers and addresses. They will master forming all types of questions and short answers using the verb 'to be' (Unit 1: 'to be' negative and questions).
o Learners will learn vocabulary for common objects and possessions. They will practice using articles (a/an/the) and forming plurals (Unit 2: Articles, Plurals).
o Learners will practice asking where things are. They will master using prepositions of place (in, on, under, next to) to describe item locations. Includes Progress Check 1 (Unit 2: Prepositions, PC 1).
o Learners will talk about their cities, countries, and nationalities. They will use simple adjectives to describe personality and appearance (Unit 3: Background, 'to be' review).
o Learners will learn vocabulary for clothing and colors. They will be introduced to the Present Continuous tense to describe what people are currently wearing (Unit 4: Possessive Adjectives, Present Continuous affirmative).
o Learners will practice describing current actions in negative statements and questions. They will use Possessive Adjectives to ask Whose things are (Unit 4: Present Continuous questions).
o Learners will participate in a final review conversation describing people (appearance, nationality, and current actions). They will complete Progress Check 2 (Unit 3/4 Review, PC 2).
o Learners will practice asking for and giving the time using expressions like o'clock, A.M., P.M. They will use prepositions of time (at, in, on) (Unit 5: Time expressions).
o Learners will master forming Present Continuous questions and answers. They will ask classmates what they are doing right now and respond (Unit 5: Present Continuous questions).
Learners will discuss their daily and weekly habits. They will be introduced to the Simple Present Tense using affirmative statements (Unit 6: Simple Present affirmative).
o Learners will learn to discuss routines using negative statements in the Simple Present (don't/doesn't). They will talk about their family's routines (Unit 6: Simple Present negative).
o Learners will practice forming all Simple Present questions using do/does. They will use adverbs of time to describe frequency (Unit 6: Simple Present questions).
o Learners will contrast the Simple Present (habit) and Present Continuous (now). They will complete Progress Check 3 (Unit 5/6 Review, PC 3).
o Learners will learn vocabulary for houses, apartments, and furniture. They will use 'There is' and 'There are' to describe their homes (Unit 7: There is/are affirmative/negative).
o Learners will practice forming questions using 'There is/are' (Is there a sofa? Are there any chairs?). They will also review prepositions of place in a room context (Unit 7: There is/are questions).
o Learners will learn vocabulary for common jobs and workplaces. They will use the Simple Present Tense to state facts about work (Unit 8: Jobs vocabulary, Simple Present review).
o Learners will focus on asking and answering Wh-questions about work routines (What time...?, Where...?, When...?) using do/does (Unit 8: Simple Present Wh- questions).
o Learners will practice using adjectives and adverbs to describe job duties and characteristics. They will learn the correct placement of these modifiers (Unit 8: Adjectives/Adverbs placement).
o Learners will consolidate Unit 7 & 8 vocabulary through role-plays (e.g., describing a friend's job and where they live).
o Learners will participate in high-speed drills focused on differentiating between the major tenses: 'Be', Simple Present, and Present Continuous (All Units Review).
o Learners will engage in longer role-plays that integrate multiple topics (e.g., Introducing a friend, describing their job, and asking about their weekend routine) (All Units Review).
o Learners will complete Progress Check 4, the final assessment covering all 8 units. They will identify remaining areas for future study (PC 4).
o Learners will participate in a final conversation Q&A session, receive course feedback, and discuss how to transition to the next level (Interchange 1) (Course Conclusion).
